hi! thanks for leaving the compliment on my site :)

my poem site is actually not my main site. it's newer. i have my own journal at www.live-creative.blogspot.com but you can see that on the list of my Profile under "Live Creative :: uncovering her journey"
I'm wondering why it didn't occur to me before to send you my poetry. I think after sending in poem after poem to the school literary magazine and getting rejected each time has started to get me down. So here goes:
Why do you disturb me O heart of mine? In aging autumn In still of time As leaves turn to rust and sail on the weather blown wind Without a beginning and without an end
I am a retired school teacher
living in Central North Queensland where we moved from Ballarat 14 years ago.
I live with my husband, dog and cats and spend my time writing, gardening and craftwork.
I have recently revived the local newsletter 'Torrens Creek Telegraph' after allowing it to lapse for 5 years.
The Torrens Creek Newsletter is a bi monthly attempt to keep communication open in the Torrens Creek community. It is hoped that this blog will provide a more up to date service and save some trees ;-) Contributions of local information and activities are welcomed by the editor, Frances Mackay.
